BIO:

After spending most of the 90s fronting Twin Cities rockers Third Wheel, singer-songwriter Eric Kalenze dropped his loud guitars in 2000 and headed for his basement studio. From there (and working under the moniker Gawker Slowdown) Eric produced five full-length records, placed numerous tracks on local and regional compilations, scored an independent film, and became a fixture in the Cities singer-songwriter scene. Mostly retired from writing and performing since the late 2000s, Eric still enjoys penning a song or playing a show every now and then.
